Veronica Mars

The CW has announced its schedule for the fall of 2007. As I had feared, "Veronica Mars" has not been renewed.

One can't really blame the CW for the decision. The third season, in which Veronica attends Hearst College, has been weak and hasn't, as I understand it, picked up a lot of new viewers. But the first season stands as my favourite single season of any television series ever.

As a lot of people have remarked over the last decade or so, the best TV shows have become much more entertaining than anything in movie theatres.
